Group Presentation Details
Each group will have 3-4 members
A. Presentation Group Outline-1 per group-due 2/28- share responsibilities of who will cover what topics.
B. Presentation Individual Outline-1 per person 3/14
Health Condition Paper Outline (30 points)-each person will hand in their own typed response.
Using your group outline that you handed in, I would like each of you to make a separate outline of what your part of the presentation will be and what you will discuss.
For example:
Colon cancer:
I. Intro will be about: an interesting fact about colon cancer to get everyone’s attention. I will find this info on: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001308/
II. Give some statistics
A. Incidence
B. How wide spread is it?
III. Summary of what we will be discussing- explain here
IV. Bibliography: resources I will use for my information are:

B. Journal of medicine, vol. 2
This information can change, but I would like you to use it as a guide for setting up your research project. This way I can see how everyone’s progress is going.
C. Presentation (70 points)-presentations will be held: 4/18
The presentation is a great opportunity to share with the class everything you’ve learned about your topic – this is the fun part!!

D. Group Summary (20 points) – 1 per group-due: 4/18
Write a 1-page summary (single-spaced, 12 font, 1” margins) of your group project. All group members name should be on this paper. In your paper you should include how your group topic evolved, how hard/easy it was to research the topic, and your group process (how did you make decisions; how did you work through any challenges?)
E. Group Evaluation (10 points)-individual-due 4/18
Write a paragraph summary of how well your group worked together, and an honest evaluation of each person’s role in researching your topic and preparing for the presentation. Please include your suggested grade for each person in the group.
